Transportation options:
We have contracted with Lamoille Valley Transportation to provide shuttle service on both Thursday and Friday leaving and returning to the Hilton Garden Inn in Burlington, VT. On Thursday, a coach bus will pick passengers up at the Hilton Garden Inn at 4:15pm and return from Snow Farm to the Hilton Garden Inn at 9:35pm. On Friday, two sprinter vans will transport passengers to the Shelburne Museum leaving from the Hilton Garden Inn at 7:05am and return to the Hilton Garden Inn at 3:40pm.
There are Uber, Lyft, and taxi options available in the area, but we encourage guests to plan ahead for a safe ride home after the Thursday's reception and to get to and from the airport. Food, Drink & Shopping: The Church St Marketplace is a walking street located in downtown Burlington and has a host of restaurants and shopping options. A short walk down the hill will bring you to the waterfront with beautiful views of the lake and Adirondack mountains.
Waterbury/Stowe: Within 30-40 mins of Burlington down 89 S you'll find the Waterbury/Stowe area. There are many fall attractions in this area including many delicious restaurants, breweries, and even an iconic single chair ride up Mad River Glen to view the beautiful foliage. Visit the Ben and Jerry's factory in Waterbury or check out downtown Stowe for coffee shops and a cute country store with quintessential views of the Vermont mountains. Last but not least, there are many walking and hiking trails nestled in this area.
